I love making open, light-filled functional spaces – keeping careful track of the costs while working with the ideas and needs of the homeowner. We removed the soffits to bring in light and space. The corner sink creates more counter surface. We used stock hickory cabinets, plastic laminate counter, marmoleum floor and tile splash. Simple and functional, with a neat dining room “cubby,” custom hutch, and breakfast bar.
