A Studio
This is a painter’s studio that was converted from a dilapidated garage in southeast Portland. The homeowner-artist and I worked together to design a light-filled, creative space for her to paint. Saving part of the original garage was important to the owner. That was challenging!

Accessory Dwelling Unit
This little garage with upstairs apartment is in northeast Portland. The owners hired me to conceptualize the building and work with the City of Portland’s Planning Department to solve some height and zoning issues. They now use this as a short-term rental.
